 Petit Peton French Curriculum helps to develop your child ‘s speaking, reading and writing skills in French. Children will learn French culture and traditions.

• Becoming a Student, Living Together /                        Devenir élève, vivre ensemble

We will help your child prepare to enter school with a curiosity for learning in this multicultural world. French routines and manners structure the day. Learning together educates your child to live in a community and builds social relational skills.

• Discovering the world /                                                 Découvrir le monde

Your child will gain an understanding of the world around him through the exploration of the natural world and science (life cycles), space and time, the environment, technology, helping to nurture your child’s intellect.

• Acting and expressing emotions and thoughts /             Agir et s’exprimer avec son corps

It emphasizes Performing arts such as singing, acting and ‘Theatre musical’. In all 3 years of the program, your child will built confidence in expressing himself.

• Perceiving, feeling, imagining and creating /         Percevoir, sentir, imaginer, créer

Learning through the Arts is essential : drawing, watercolor and acrylic painting, sculpting with clay, creating puppet theater , and playing musical instruments. Arts and  Craft and painting will give to your child strong self-expression.Discovering Contemporary artists  and artists tools will open him to the Art World.

Replacer l’école maternelle dans sa mission première : assurer l’éveil de la personnalité des enfants.
Par le jeu et l’expérimentation, donner aux enfants le pouvoir de leurs propres aptitudes.
Les encourager à sortir de situations passives, devenir acteurs de leurs apprentissages avec le constant souci de leurs progrès ( problèmes posés, conscience des enjeux, concentration, verbalisation, hypothèses, prises de position, engagement, vérification…)
